President’s Comments

Greetings Sorors, Friends, and Visitors!,

With open arms and magnitudes of joy and happiness, I welcome you to the virtual home of the “Exquisite” Epsilon Tau Chapter of the greatest service organization in existence—Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. Epsilon Tau is a New York City-wide Chapter that encompasses a majority of the accredited four-year institutions in The Bronx and Manhattan.

Since its chartering 43 years ago, Epsilon Tau has been devoted to producing both award-winning programs and initiatives within our communities and beyond, via the sorority’s Five Point Programmatic Thrust. The many distinguished women of excellence from Epsilon Tau have led the chapter to win many awards including the 2006 Lawry’s Award-Grant for our Delta G.E.M.S program and the 2007 Project A.C.E award for our “Love My Sisters Day” program (presented at the 48th National Convention and the 46th Regional Conference, respectively). An exceptional chapter indeed, Epsilon Tau will continue this 2008-2009 sorority year to strive for excellence and distinction while continuously working to improve, empower, and better our neighborhoods.

My sweet Sorors and friends, please take the time to explore our website! By the very least, I hope you are inspired and encouraged to reciprocate our penchant to caring for our communities, those who are feeble, and those who are less fortunate. I also hope that you join us during many of our insightful programs this year as we work together towards a common purpose which I believe lies in each of us despite our differences.
