This month's feature is Mountains beyond Mountains by Tracy Kidder. The book documents the work and experiences of Dr. Paul Farmer with social and health disparities in Haiti. We will also be discussing the effects of today's global healthcare disparities, the newly passed health care reform bill, and how both may shape the future of the healthcare industries here in America and abroad. We will openly discuss these controversial issues and excerpts from the book in a relaxed setting that encourages everyone to share their opinions on the matter.

The book club will be held on Thursday, March 25th at the City College of New York, NAC Building, Room 1/209 at 7:00pm.
