Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Epsilon Tau Chapter sees an immediate need to raise awareness and educate the community on ways in which we can help fight incidents of domestic abuse. According to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, in New York there were 3,636 forcible rapes reported in 2005 and 28 children killed as a result of domestic violence in 2006.

Ego Trippin’: Domestic Violence will include the testimonies of actual domestic violence victims and a 40 minute self defense course to conclude the event.

Please join us Friday, April 23, 2010 from 6pm- 8:30pm, as we shed light on the impact of Domestic Violence on our families, friends and communities.
